📋 How to Upload an Invitation List or Import an Attendee List

Easily invite guests to your event by uploading a list of their details.

To import your guest list into Happenly, please follow these steps:

1. Go to your Event Dashboard, then go to Track > Attendee List.

2. Then, go to Add Attendee > Import Spreadsheet:

3. When importing a .csv file, please make sure to have a column for First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.

Please note: the system will not check for duplicates when uploading multiple files, so only add new names and remove duplicates ahead of time. You also have the option to confirm which names to add when importing.

4. On the file uploader, click Upload File or drag and drop a file to get started:

If the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address fields do not auto-match, manually match the fields under the Destination Fields heading. Once your fields are mapped, click Confirm.

5. You'll see a status screen confirming that the upload is running in the background

Once complete, you'll be able to verify and submit the data:

6. Once your list is uploaded, you can send out your invitations:

Once attendee list is uploaded, emails do NOT automatically get sent out to attendees. You will need to send out email invites to invite them to your event.

✉️ Sending Invitations

After successfully uploading your guest list:

  1. Go to Share > Emails/Invites.

  2. Create a new email template or select an existing one.

  3. Choose your recipients from the uploaded attendee list.

  4. Send out your invitations.

Your guests will receive the invitation and can RSVP directly through the provided link.
