Custom form questions allow your attendees to indicate which subevents they plan to attend during the registration process by checking-off/selecting the subevents on the registration form.

Example:

You’re planning a wedding and would like to ask guests if they are attending the reception, ceremony or both.

You’re hosting a trip has two different dates and you’d like to determine which date your guests will attend.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Setup > Registration > Form Questions
In your Event Dashboard, navigate to Setup, then click Registration, and select Form Questions.

  2. Click “Add Custom Question”
Choose a question type like “Checkbox” (for multiple selections) or “Dropdown” or Multiple Choice (for a single selection).
Example question: “Which parts of the event will you attend?”

  3. Enter your subevent options
Under Repsonses, fill in your subevent options as answers, separated by a comma. For example:

    • Ceremony, Reception, Welcome Dinner

    • Day 1, Day 2 (for date options)

  4. (Optional) Make it required
Toggle “Required” if you want every guest to answer this question before completing registration.

  5. Save your question
Click Save Question to finalize and add it to your registration form.

  6. Test your form
Preview the registration form to make sure your subevent question appears as expected.

  7. View responses in your Attendee Report
